Find: Elna Supermatic Sewing Machine

One of three machines recently found through a local online auction, this olice green Elna Supermatic is a gem. After a quick wipe-down to remove the little dust it has accumulated over the years, I was surprised at the condition of the machine. It does not have any major scratches and looks to be used very little. Being in excellent condition for its age including all of the original attachments / tools and the manual, I am a lucky girl. Although I paid a pretty penny and was nervous about bidding on it sight unseen, I deserved this machine after all of the stops at garage sales this summer only to find a little to none of the machines that interest me.  This Elna was well worth it.  The only issue I can see thus far is the cord is failing apart.  Rather than cross my fingers and hope the cord will function just to test the machine, I decided not to and wait until we can rig-up something to use as a replacement.
